All the Light We Cannot See

All the Light We Cannot See is coming to Netflix on November 2, and it’s promised to be a gripping war drama based on Anthony Doerr’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel.

The story is set during World War II and follows two teenagers, Marie-Laure, a blind French girl portrayed by Aria Mia Loberti, and Werner, a German boy played by Louis Hofmann, who is reluctantly drawn into fighting for the Nazis. Marie-Laure’s father works as a locksmith at Paris’ Museum of Natural History; he’s portrayed by Mark Ruffalo.

As their paths cross in this tumultuous time, the mini-series explores their journeys and the profound impact of war on their lives.

The Buccaneers

Drawing inspiration from Edith Wharton’s last incomplete novel, The Buccaneers introduces audiences to a spirited group of American girls. Among them are Nan St. George, Conchita Closson, Mabel Elmsworth, Lizzy Elmsworth, and Jinny St. George. The journey takes them to the glamorous debutante season in 1870s London. Their mission? To find sophisticated British husbands.

The Buccaneers was previously adapted for BBC television as a mini-series back in 1995. Now, it’s returning in a fresh format on Apple TV+ on November 8.

Scott Pilgrim Takes Off

Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is based on the popular graphic novels by Bryan Lee O’Malley and features the original cast from the 2010 film reprising their roles.

The story follows Scott Pilgrim, who falls for the enchanting Ramona Flowers but has a unique challenge. He must battle her seven evil exes to win her heart. It’s a combination of romance, action, and comedy, just like the original movie.

The cast’s return adds extra charm, and with O’Malley involved in its development, you can expect it to stay true to the source material. So, if you loved the film, mark your calendars for November 17.

Obliterated

On November 30, Netflix is bringing Obliterated, an action thriller with a twist. An elite special forces team descends on Las Vegas to thwart a bomb threat. But after successfully defusing what they believed to be a real bomb, they decide to celebrate in true Vegas style.

Negotiable Instruments

Here’s where the oops comes in: they later realize the bomb they thought they had deactivated was actually a fake one. Now, in the midst of their revelry, they must race against time to track down and disarm the real bomb before disaster strikes. They’re still intoxicated, by the way. Audiences are promised a mix of action, suspense, and a touch of humor.
